Jason has lived with his brain injury for the last 10 years. At the age of 17 Jason had a terrible accident whilst on a snowboarding holiday in the French Alps. When snowboarding offpiste he plunged 80m off acliff sustaining a serious head injury. Jason was rescued by helicopter for emergency treatment in Geneva. He remained unconscious for 6 weeks and was then transferred to London. Jason spent 9 months in hospital relearning how to communicate & regain movement. The biggest difficulty was coping with loss …

Headway Monsters Ball- 29th October, Grand Jersey
The Headway Monsters Ball for Halloween on Saturday 29th October saw supporters of Headway charity enjoyed an evening of exquisite entertainment at the Grand Jersey all in the name of raising much needed funds, over £2500 was raised in Auction and Raffle Prizes alone.
Along with a sumptuous three course meal & complimentary half a bottle of wine came a full evening of entertainment with a spooky twist of cabaret, acts included Ivy Paige, Pixie le Knott and The Little Big Band.

Headway Pirates – Treasure Trove reaches £10,500 raised at Jersey Live
This year’s Jersey Live has been a great success for local charity Headway Jersey, Headway volunteers helped setup and run the Pirate Tease stage and area throughout the weekend. Festival goers donated and bought pirate merchandise, second hand clothes, had there face painted, crafts and homemade food. Additional entertainment included the IQ stage hosting the best local bands, a silent disco and flag pulling competition.
